Paul, Adaptive optics really only help at longer focal lengths, over 1200mm at least, and even better beyond 2000mm. Lower than 1200mm and I'm not sure I'd

SBIG Adaptive Optics
I'm using an SBIG ST2000 camera and I'm interested in AO. I see AO7 units come up regularly for sale, but not too many AO8's. What is the big difference
