SRI-Pilipinas is a mailing list for Philippine-based practicioners and advocates of a rice planting method called System of Rice Intensification (SRI). This method was developed by a French priest and agriculturist Fr. Henri de Laulanie in the 1980s, working with farmers in Madagascar. Its most active advocate in the scientific community is Prof. Norman Uphoff of Cornell University.

This is NOT meant to be an international list. Mailing list users are encouraged to use the local language Pilipino.
