The University of Maryland Math department is hosting a statistics symposium in honor of the 65th birthday 
of Dr. Benjamin Kedem on July 30-31, 2009. Plenary talks will be given by 
Dr. Emanuel Parzen and  Dr. Peter Bloomfield. Talks will be held in Room 3206 
in the Mathematics Building. Below is a tentative schedule. Please take a look 
at the website for the symposium at http://www4.stat.ncsu.edu/~martin/symposium.html 
for more information registration, hotel accommodations, meals, etc.  
 
Registration is free for students. Hope you will plan on attending.
