Probably more like the standard length. Especially with thinner films, you can make the strip longer with no problem so long as you are using the 36 exposure...

The Minox B and all prior models count up. The Minox C, BL and all later models count down. The MX, being a rebadged Acmel camera, I don't know for sure. ...

I got scratched film from Goat Hill once... the film was replaced AND refunded... a great service, but not Kodak:) Check the film... if only to rule it out....
