Re: [SVG-Mobile] SVG Tiny and Flash Lite!

Hi Salman,

I'm sure others will provide additional info, but here's my stab at
answering your questions.

Authoring tools: Beatware Mobile Designer / Ikivo Animator. It is my
understanding that both these tools will see new releases to support
SVGT 1.2 once the standard is finalized.

Players: The leading known SVGT 1.2 players are BitFlash's and
Ikivo's, which have been demonstrated publicly. Other vendors claim
support for SVGT 1.2, for instance ACCESS with their NetFront mobile
browser, but also Korean company NeoMTel. For SVGT 1.1+, you can also
add Opera.

Servers: The most successful server tool that I've seen in action is
the BitFlash document server. Beatware also offers the Beatware
Mobile Server.

I'll let Marc Verstaen elaborate on this particular topic, but the
short version is "no, Flash Lite does not have better tool support".

Vodafone, Orange, 3, TIM, Telefonica, KDDI/Au, NTT DoCoMo, I may be
missing some.

Not every, but many, many orders of magnitudes more than Flash Lite.
