I should have said SVG 1.2 is in Draft, not a Recommendation yet.
If anything claims to support SVG 1.2 it should actually claim "Draft"
and a date/version with that, as minor changes might still happen.
Or am i wrong?

The latter is definitely what i prefer.
I wish the svg.org list of phones had a 1.2 category, i've asked its
maintainer.
