So, to start. I had a frustrating experience with Symbian Signed. See my post, I'm the 'davidsan1" post in the "Symbian Signed Support Forum"
1. My initial question was never really answered. I was given links to where the answer was supposed to be. As a new developer I can tell you there is a mountain of things you need to learn and know in order to actually create, certify and release a Symbian OS appliction. We need our questions answered THEN a redirection for further information. That last post was perfect.
2. All the sample code you have presented in an organized format would be great.
3. All the text from the sample code "searchable" Often I am using a new class and I'd like to see what other people have done with it so if I can search on the class name and have instances show up where its used in the sample code, that would be great.
4. Error code explanations would be great.
5. FAQs are great. I'd say most forum postings should be covered in an FAQ. Feel free to restate the question and provide a complete answer.
Glad you are reaching out!
PS The attitude of the initial answers to my question in the Symbian Signed Support Forum where EXTEREMELY frustrating. If I wasn't so committed to Symbian/S60 I very well may have given up at that point. I tried finding my own anwer in what seemed to be a disorganized mess then was simply redirected back into that mess, SEVERAL times until finally I think the website was down and someone had mercy on me. That is not good customer support. The attitude that came through was "the information is there, you are just too stupid to find it" The attitude should be "sorry you couldn't find an answer to your question, here let me provide the basic information you need and here are some references.

Subject: [SVS_SIG] Help us make developer.symbian.org great!
Hi folks,
First, let me introduce myself. My name is Maurice Sharp, and I am the new Community Manager for Developers. Though I am new to Symbian Foundation, Ltd., I am not new to the mobile developer space, having started with Newton, then moving to a 150 person company called Palm :-)
We are in the process of building out developer.symbian.org as a place where developers can gather and we can work together to build the most widely used software on the planet.
Before we launch the site to the public, we would like hear as much as we can from you, the people who will be the primary users. We are still in a beta period, so you need to know the username and password for the site.
If you would like to help us make your site great, please email myself maurices@symbian.org or John Kern johnk@symbian.org and we will let you know how to access the site.
Regards
Maurice Sharp
