Physics Professor Emeritus Dr. Howard Hayden, author of The Energy Advocate, has debunked most "alternative" forms of energy, calling nuclear the true alternative, and says that there is no "energy crisis". "There is enough nuclear fuel to last far longer than man will inhabit the earth."

The goal should be to replace far more than 100% of our fossil fuel electric generation with nuclear, then use that electricity to power, heat and cool our homes and businesses and eventually develop the technologies to use it to power our vehicles. Coastal areas would no longer have water shortages, they could use it to de-salinize all the water they wanted.
