If you really want the best picture quality possible, a 40" tube model would serve you better. I do not know if any of the CRT-based 40" r/p's are still available. That would also be another good choice.

Does anyone know if Samsung makes a 40" DLP screen? If so, speak out and let me know. Are there technical reasons why they don't?...

There would be very little cost difference between a 56" and a 40" screen with the DLP engine. A direct view LCD screen for the 40" size would be far more cost...

Hi The reason for wanting a 40" screen is not cost but necessity. My space for the screen is only 41" wide, so I repeat is there a DLP 40" screen available or...
