Hello Sean,

We had a PS3 connected through a new Denon AVR4806 AV
receiver, all with HDMI to a Samsung TV. The picture
flickered badly. We changed the Denon's HDMI mode
(choices are Off, Mode 1 and Mode 2) and solved the
issue.

There is something strange about PS3 HDMI. I'm not
sure the TV has various HDMI modes but check for this.
