Samsung HLT6189S - Clock does not set via HDMI and cable box   Message List

I am unable to set the clock when connected to the cable box via HDMI.
The setting work ok if I connect the TV via the cable to the cable
box. Does any body know how to fix it. I had called the cable service
support and they said their system are working fine and it must be TV
problem?

Sounds like you have the same clock problem I have - it stopped working a few months after I got my 26" tv - can't set it manually or automatically at all. Jan...

It seems that the clock / Time signals are incuded with the TV signals in analog form and the converted Digital signals do not carry the time signal. So this...
