Frank,

If your laptop has a VGA output, connecting it to the PC in on your TV would be
the best choice. If not, it depends on what video outputs (if any) your laptop
does have.

At a pinch, there are some USB 2.0 (High Speed) to VGA adaptors that you could
probably use. They wouldn't be ideal for games or other things needing
high-performance graphics, but for general web browsing it should work.
