Our dreams are our own

Each one is unique to us

Dreams tell us our fears

They reveal our hopes.

Dreams can tell the future

Or give us a glimpse into the past

They tell what is in our hearts

Giving our minds free reign.

Some people's dreams come true

Uncovering the face of the unforseen

Making the path to the unknown

An easier way to go.

Finding the secrets we hide

Dreams uncover our desires

They jumble our thoughts

confusing the issues we face.

Our dreams are often pleasant

Our dreams sometimes are frightening

One thing can be said with certainty
