Thanks for your testing and your report, Renzo.
As far as I can tell, nothing changed between "373" (a beta? what was the
exact version number, please) and "376" (version number please) which
would affect the operation either of the CX6DD/RS232 tracker, or the Make
Picture operation.
I have just checked the source code, and there appears to be no difference
in the code which is executed when the Make Picture button is pressed
between 3.7.2 and 3.7.6, which makes me unsure as to why one should give
an I/O error 103 and the other not.
If you are getting I/O error 103, that means that the program cannot write
to a file, even though it has been able to open the file, so please check
that you have write access to the directory where you have specified that
the results should be written. Check that you are not overwriting a
read-only file. The path is specified in the Setup, Choose file paths,
Path for results files box. In the Options, What to save, you can turn
off saving of all the files (uncheck all the boxes) to establish which of
the three files is causing the problem.
With 3.8.0 I can see the flicker problem, and I will see what can be done
to improve it.
73,
David
