Am I right in thinking you will want a review of Steven Pinker's "The Blank
Slate: The Modern Denial of Human Nature"? If so, might I suggest that you
ask Steven Goldberg (sociology, CCNY, CUNY), author of "The Inevitability of
Patriarchy" and "Why Men Rule" to review it. Steve, as the titles of his
books suffice to indicate, bears dozens of scars from the slings and arrows
Pinker is talking about.
