Hello!

You've always been told not to mix business with pleasure, but what if
business was pleasure! We here at the Suez Canal Medical Students’
Association have cooked up;
The 6th SCMSA Summer School on Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine
with just the right amount of each of these secret ingredients;
Business: a once in a lifetime opportunity to get hands on
experience with infectious diseases,
& Pleasure: the opportunity to explore the treasures of Egypt.

Curious? Then read on, here are the juicy details:

The courses will be based on labs, clinics, lectures and seminars.

Time:
10th to 24th of August, 2003

Number of Participants in each:
20 and up to 25 students maximum “so hurry up reserve
your place!”

Deadline for Applications:
20th of June, 2003

Course Fee:
210 US Dollars (early registration)
250 US Dollars (registration after deadline or upon arrival)

For accompanying persons, their registration fees are:
240 US Dollars (early registration)
280 US Dollars (registration after deadline or upon arrival)

The fees should be transferred to the following bank account:

Please Take in consideration that you afford the bank transaction fees,
which will vary according to the country and the bank you deal with

We kindly request that you send us a copy of the bank transfer receipt
in any of the following ways:

1. Fax the receipt to + 20 64 329448 Attn. Mohammed Elshawadfy
2. Scan the receipt and send it to summerschool@...
3. Send it to the Suez Canal Medical Students Association, Faculty of
Medicine, Suez Canal University, Ismailia, Egypt.

Before the 1st of July, the fees shall be 80% refundable.

The fees will cover:
· Scientific course.
· Accommodation in 2-bedroom apartment in three stars guest house in
Ismailia, Egypt.

· Breakfast and lunch.
· Social and cultural program including a trip to Cairo to visit many
marvellous monuments up there.
· Certificate that will be issued to all those who will have
completed the course.

Required Equipment:
A white coat and a stethoscope. A camera will come in handy as well!

Optional Social Program:
Optional trips will be organized to different cities and regions in
Egypt such as Cairo, Sharm El-shiekh, Hurghada, Sinai, Luxor and Alexandria.

Official Language:
English

Climate and Clothing:
The weather is sunny in August and is warm; the average temperature
ranges from 28 to 35°c, being one of the most beautiful countries during
