SeaFunc is Seattle. SeaFunc is functional. Functional language.
Functional programming. We shall attempt to adjust your software, as
there is something wrong. You're in a C funk. Get out of your C funk.

For the uninitiated: Functional programming (FP) is a tradition of
writing and modeling programs as the composition of mathematical
functions. FP is both a collection of specific language features
and a powerful way of thinking and reasoning about computation.
functions. FP is both a collection of specific language features
and a powerful way of thinking and reasoning about computation.
Languages associated with the FP way of thinking include: Lisp, ML,
Scheme, Smalltalk, Haskell, Erlang, and Scala. Finally, the seeds of
many progressive and ubiquitous features in C++/Java/C# and
relatives are modern renditions of features originally d eveloped
by the FP community.
Anyone interested in the application, extension or construction of
advanced programming languages - functional or not - is encouraged to
come. We've been meeting every three weeks since June 2004. A typical
showing is 6-10 people. If you think there must be more to life than
C++, Java, and C#, please join us!
