Applied EarthWorks, Inc. is currently accepting applications for
archaeological field technicians for a data recovery project on
Vandenberg Air Force Base to begin in August-September 2008.
Fieldwork will be two 10 day sessions with a break of 4 days in
between for a total of 20 days of work. We will be excavating
numerous 1x1 units along a creek bank where deep augers (up to 18
feet below surface) have identified buried cultural material.
Previous field experience is required.
Pay rate is $17.69/hour plus $3.16/hour for health and welfare. Per
diem is $110/day.
