You must be able to demonstrate at least two years field experience in managing in-house support staff and temporary field employees.
Responsibilities:
* Supervision of field crews conducting archaeological fieldwork including survey,
monitoring, testing and data recovery;
* Participation in technical research and report writing as needed;
* Contribution to and demonstrated ability to lead team efforts during cultural
resources field and lab work;
* Ability to work independently and as a team member;
* Taking initiative, resolving problems, and creating improved procedures to
assure tasks are completed in the most effective manner;
* Organization and tracking of all field records, and data;
* Communication with Project Managers and GPS/GIS staff through regular,
scheduled Project/Field status reports.
