Arizona Supervisory Archaeologist

 

Logan Simpson Design Inc. is seeking to fill several permanent, full-time, archaeologist positions to supervise cultural resources surveys throughout Arizona.  The position is located in our Tempe office.  Individuals must have 2-5 years supervisory experience conducting survey and excavations throughout Arizona.  Candidates must have expertise in identifying the full range of archaeological features, prehistoric ceramics, and historic artifacts commonly identified on survey in Arizona.  The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic and have completed an M.A. in Anthropology.  Individuals must be familiar with completion of site forms, use of GPS with data recorder, and capable of surveying in remote locations and over steep terrain for extended periods of time.
