Oh, does THIS bring back a rather unpleasant memory! I vividly remember as a
young pup stringing this cord around the front of house for speakers, and
the knucklehead sound guy plugged his end into an AC outlet while I had the
other (male) end in my palm, reaching around the back of a speaker to plug
it up~ (or were *both* ends male? I can't remember, this was back in the mid
60's.
I think the game plan on this was he would plug his end into the AC, and I
was sposed to plug my end onto a test lamp to insure the cable was good-
being a young, junior type, I went along (even though I didn't think it was
a good idea, but I was sooo young and impressionable back then. . .) maybe I
got one step ahead in the process.
