I expect to have a similar blast of 40 or so logs sometime in the near future.
While organizing several boxes of papers that had been sitting in a closet in
the guest room, I found two things.
The first was a notebook from the vacation we took over the summer of 2009.
About a week before we left on our road trip to western Canada, my wife
discovered that she had lost her passport. We had to cool our heels for a
couple of days while waiting to replace it at the passport office in
Minneapolis. There are a *LOT* of Minneapolis Shutterspots, and I spent a good
chunk of time finding them. I only logged one or two before I misplaced the
notebook.
The other thing I found was a notebook that I used for GPSgames notes at my old
job (which I left in 2006). I used to spend my lunch hours figuring out
Shutterspots, but never got around to actually entering the ones I solved.
In looking over the ones I solved in 2006, I realized that the online tools for
solving Shutterspots have improved a lot. Google Earth/Google Maps has higher
resolution imagery, while Street View and Photos in Google Earth makes many of
them a complete piece of cake.

BOB!!
