Fruit Tree Pruning!

Come learn learn fruit tree pruning on the hillside permaculture orchards of the
M.A. Center.
With 100 established trees and 400 1-3 year old trees, you will certainly become
much more competent and confident in fruit tree shaping.

A 30year master of organic orchard management, Alex "Chidanand" Hogstrom, will
teach how to create a prosperous structure for growth of your favorite young
fruit tree(s). Following a short "Pruning 101" on Saturday morning, we'll head
to the orchards to put our knowledge to practice on a beautiful rolling orchard
of apples, persimmons, plums, and more.

A homecooked vegetarian lunch will be provided.

What to bring: Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, gloves, close-toed shoes/boots,
clothing appropriate for the weather. (It can get cold in the valley.) Water
Bottle and snacks. Some pruning gear will be provided. If you have gear at home
to bring, that would be greatly appreciated.
