Hello,
I am looking to gain practical experience in organic gardening/ farming and
pasture/ ranch management and I have plenty of enthusiasm and energy to offer in
return. I am currently studying Resource Management, Ecology and Landscape
Architecture. I am very passionate about food and agriculture and am more than
willing to completely immerse myself in my work. I am willing to relocate, work
as much as needed and do whatever it takes to get the job done right. I enjoy
using critical thinking and creativity to solve problems, and have an
ever-growing background of self-taught materials and general understanding of Ag
concepts that I could contribute and develop further. Some areas that I am
especially interested in learning more about and gaining more experience and
mentoring in are: growing organic fruits, veggies and herbs, heirloom
growing/seed preservation, Holistic Resource Management and other pasturing
methods, historical farming and homesteading practices, geology/soil
re-mineralization, soil science and nutrition, Permaculture, Joel Salatin and
many more.
