This is the Strawberry-Ridge-Computer-Club of Valrico, Florida. Our purpose is to exchange information with each other as it relates to the use of our Computers. We are here to help each other with their questions and to provide answers to the best of our ability.
We recognize that none of us are “Computer Gurus” and the advice we get from others has to be confirmed by our own research. We expect that each person will contribute in their own way....some asking, some answering and hopefully most doing both. Don’t be shy. Ask your questions. Whenever possible provide links to a website that has the answer to a person’s question.
This Yahoo group has a lot more than just a messaging facility. It has sections for:
• Messages - this is where you will ask and answer inquiries from others
• Files - you can upload or download and share files in this section. Be sure to virus check
• Photos – this area is meant to allow the upload and download of photo
• Links – we will provide meaningful links to interesting and helpful websites here.
• Database – probably won’t be used but does allow one to create their own Database
• Polls – we may from time to time create polls as a mean to getting member opinions
• Members - list each member and their Email address. Not all will be able to view the list
• Calendar – you can view or add events to the clubs calendar
Once a member, the easiest way to submit a posting or to respond to someone is send an email to Strawberry-Ridge-Computer-Club@yahoogroups.com
