Hello. I am new here. I hope this is allowed. I'm sorry if its not as
I said I am new here.
My grandfather recently passed away and I was given a Mamiya c33 and
c330. I dont know anything about these cameras and dont know how to
use them. He was a professional photographer and used them up until 3
years ago when he retired. If you are interested in purchasing them
from me privately please email me at Imbrlesane@.... I am
taking all offers. My grandmother has been left in my care and with
all the added expenses of the funeral, things are very tight. So I am
seeling them to help care for her. I have photos of the cameras if
needed. Thanks.
I have uploaded a few more photographs and updates at
http://www.submin.com/17.5mm
included a background image at 2400, 1600, 1280, 1024 and 800.

The section on 35mm cameras has been updated with new photographs.
these have been linked in but the text still has to be added.
If anyone has any original price data for the Minox AF, mini-AF, CD
range and in particular the AF-90 and M*142 please let me know.
The 17.5mm section at
http://www.submin.com/17.5mm
has been updated with several new photographs and a new entries.
The small section on pocket monoculars has been updated with the Minox

Under
http://www.submin.com/forsale/ebay
the hot key search to Ebay for cameras has been updated to include
suggested auction, camera fair and shop prices for the cameras. Both
Ebay.co.uk and Ebay.com are supported in the searches - so you can pick
the currency and time zone of your choice.
The list now includes a few more manufacturer/models and lists several
models under the search key with some details of what to look for and
price.
In the details on the HIT and 17.5mm cameras are listed many Ebay
auction results. Besides giving an idea of the change in results over
time it also indicates the hit prices some are prepared to go to get
these tin cameras. Often it seems that if you want a particular model
you will have to paid $80-150, but next week could have got it for $30.
They are seldom as rare or infrequent as they may seem.
The 110 section also includes Ebay auction results.
As Ebay, and perhaps all auctions, are very varied in the finial value
ignore the very low and very high and consider the other figures.
results are listed in USD, GBP and EUR (DEM). Over the past three years
there has been a big change in currency rates, particularly with the EUR
to USD rate which was 1EUR = 0.90USD and is now more like 1.20USD=1EUR.

The section on the Variations of 17.5mm and HIT type cameras has just
been updated at
http://www.submin.com/17.5mm
There are now instruction sheets available for 15 different cameras, 595
images on 332 web pages, more than 150 camera 'names', more than 1000
files and 56.6Mb in total.
For each camera listed there statistics on weight, dimension
specifications and results taken from Ebay over the past year to gauge
expected value and what may be obtainable.
If anyone can not access from the Internet, or prefers to have their own
copy please contact me off list and I can supply on a CD-ROM.
Under www.submin.com/forsale/ebay international is a link to the 17.5mm
menu of Ebay search hot keys.
http://www.submin.com/forsale/ebay/hit_menu.htm works under the
web-frame to display in the main page area the results of hot key
searches on Ebay for over 150 named HIT and 17.5mm type cameras. The
list also includes some price guide figures. There is no exact guide as,
for example, the Beauty

bidders took that recently to over $400. Frequently cameras that

I have updated, partly, the section on large subminiature format cameras at
http://www.submin.com/large
The manuals for the Compass, F21 and Ensign Midget are now available.
For the Compass the original and the Compass II manuals are posted along
with a book Photography Systematised and Simplified and a film price list.
Some of the documents are in a very fragile state.
Under http://www.submin.com/large/collection I have included some
photographs of the Compass tripod and roll back.

The section on Minox brochures and manuals has been update with a number
of recent additions.
All pages load with thumbnails (3275 thumnails taking 8Mb in total) and
the stated size of the manual, shown on the index page, includes the
total amount to download all the pages under that page selection.
Prices lists date from the late 1940s up to the present from Canada,
USA, UK and Germany and even an extensive dealer's price list from Minox
USA.
Riga material includes the US Patents, a brochure from Latvia and the
Turning Point in English and German.
Minox A owners manuals now go back to 1950 and 12 different versions are
online in English and one in German.
The Minox B manuals now exceed 150Mb with 12 online in English, 4 in
German, 2 in French and 1 each in Spanish and Italian. It would seem
that thee were several prints each year in each language from before
1958 until 1977. There are some interesting changes in the photographs
chosen to included over the production years. Most of the text is the
same, although later manuals have less pages. The largest difference is
in the available accessories shown.
The Minox C manuals are covered with three in English and 5 in German.
English and German editions of the BL manual.
English, German and French versions of the EC manual.
For the LX there are English owners' manual and service manual. Three
versions in German as well as both English and German versions of the
TLX.
The manuals for the AX black and gold are in German only.
Check out the Leica M3 Story which was issued with the M3 digital
camera.
Under accessories are several versions for the
Binocular attachment,
copy stand,
developing tank,
electronic flash (US, ME1, ME2 - the 8x11 flash is under the EC
section),
10 enlarger manuals from 52 until 73,
Flash bulb and cube units,
Micro-fiche readers,
Slide projectors now have instructions in English for the HP30, Minomat,
Minomat-N and HP24
Reflex viewers,
Film slitter,
Tripods and attachments,
Viewers and cutters
A number of Minox books found have no jackets or jackets in a poor
condition. There are now scans of the jackets of two of the Minox
Manuals, and Kleine Minox - Grosse Bilder. More will be added later.
There are more jacket covers under 'General'.
Advertising Literature and Brochures has doubled in size with several
new additions including the Canadian price list from December 1949, more
in French, Spanish and Italian, letters from Kling Photo to customers
and many more issued in the last 20 years are now on line in several
languages.
There are also a number of articles and newsletters included.
Most scans are at 200dpi but an increasing number are at 300dpi, so
images are large to display and in file size. Seen at half size or
one-third or scaled by the browser will not display then correctly. They
are best viewed with a graphics program or printed back to back and
trimmed into their original booklet format.
As this section now 1.66Gb, roughtly 6500 pages, and fills at least
three CD-ROMs. Anyone wishing to review all the material can either
spent several days on line or contact me about alternatives.

Happy browsing :)

I have just updated the section on manuals at
http://www.submin.com/general/manuals/index.htm
Now included are instructions for various developer tanks, dust jackets
for Ulta-miniature photography and several articles from magazines
including some of Joseph D Cooper articles
I still have the Nikor 9.5mm (sic!) reel information sheet to scan.
Also updated are some of the links to various sites including
subminiature camera user's homepages.

Gerald
Jack prompted me to complete the section on Mec 16 manuals
Now at
http://www.submin.com/16mm/manuals/mec/index.htm
Besides the 16 and 16SB instructions also posted are Adox film sheet, an
advertisement and the magazine in English and in German Mec 16 news, Mec
16SB News and Mec Report. The pricelist of 28th April 1960 is from the
USA.
The 16 News is very much like the Minox Memo and Minox Freunds,
http://www.submin.com/8x11/manuals/minox/club/
partly information and largely a sales vehicle for the manufacturer.
I do not know if this style was common but is an obvious way of making
up a community of users for these specialised and interesting cameras.
The Rollei brochure for the 16S
http://www.submin.com/16mm/manuals/rollei/index.htm
has more the appearance of the larger brochures from Minox and I am not
awear of any news or magazine for the 16/16s.
Mec news and report look like there may be more and perhaps stopped
because they stopped making the cameras. But so did Minox; perhaps for
the same reason - backing the 110 format and moving away from
subminiature cameras into 35mm.
The section on the Mec 16 cameras themselves has not yet been written
up.
Gerald
I have uploaded manuals for the canon 110 ED and ED 20, the
minolta Weathermatic including a Multi-language version and
more instructions for the accessories for the Pentax Auto 110.
http://www.submin.com/110
Manuals for the Minox 110S, Rollei A110 and E110, Minolta zoom (Mk I and
Mk II), Weathermatic A and Pentax Auto 110 and Pentax Auto 110 Super are
posted. There are a few advertisements and brochures and articles from
magazines.
Scans are at 300dpi so images are large but printing them gets very
close to the original.
The section on the 110 cameras has also been updated with more
photographs and now exceeds 230Mb of data of which 210Mb are of the
handbooks.
The sub-directory www.submin.com/17.5mm is now 48.7Mb and 919 files, 309
folders. 154 names of which over 90 have photographs. Each variations is
listed on separate pages with over 100 variations in detailed
photographs (top, bottom, left, right, front, back and inside) and most
of the others with photographs donated from Tom Plazzo and other
collectors.
The section on manuals for 35mm Minox cameras have been
updated; but is still work in progress.
http://www.submin.com/35mm/manuals/minox/index.htm
Updates include the English manuals for all the 35mm cameras and flash
units and a number of leaflets.
http://www.submin.com/general/manuals/index.htm
Now includes the instructions for a number of reels and developing tanks
as well as articles from Modern Photography (1958), Photo guide (1963)
and Camera Shopper 1995.

Paul was able to confirm that the Safari box is labelled "Maroon" and
they are one and the same variation. It seems there may be more than one
version of the transparent display model.
I recently got a Safari on Ebay and will be adding or replacing some
photographs when it arrives.
