There was a time when, for the life of me, I could not think of any
way to make money online. Now days I see so many ways to make money
that I've had to work at not going off on too many tangents.

Besides the first two, there is no particular order to the list.

1.Selling products is the easiest way to make money on the Internet.
Whether on eBay or your own website, selling physical or digital
products will earn you more money in the shortest amount of time than
any other method. Choosing the right product and keywords, developing
simple web design skills, and learning basic SEO to drive traffic to
the site all have the lower learning curves than other methods.
Beginners may not see anything "easy" about these, but anyone with the
motivation will see results sooner with this method than with others.

2.Selling services comes in second place behind physical products.
You will have to do a little more convincing when it comes to selling,
for example, web design services versus a web design DVD course. For
ideas on what services are offered online, simply go to eLance.com or
other similar
sites.

3.Google AdSense is almost like free money. But much work is required
and there most definitely is a science to it. AdSense success is all
about content and driving traffic. I know it works. I get a Google
check every month for between 150 and 300 dollars for a few sites I
have. When I get more time, I'd like to start dedicating an hour a day
to AdSense. I believe making a thousand dollars a month could result
from that hour per day with a hobby site in six month's time or so.

4.Affiliate marketing with a website is another popular method.
This is very much related to selling your own products with a website.
However, in most cases your conversion rates will not be as high for
affiliate sales as selling your own products. Therefore, you will have
to create more content and drive more traffic for the same results…and
we all know driving traffic is easier said than done.

5.Success with affiliate marketing without a website is far more
difficult. Although getting started with AdWords is extremely easy,
success with AdWords is extremely difficult. Simply put, you will burn
through a LOT of money while you learn how to succeed with AdWords.

6.Build a list! If you have a website, no matter what you are
doing with it, you need to be building a list! Come up with some type
of free download to offer in exchange for people's email addresses,
get an account with an autoresponder service, and start building your
list! A targeted email list can be a gold mine!

These are the most popular methods people use for earning money online.
Most Internet marketers, including me, have several of these methods
going at the same time.
