Having problems with message search?
Only one update today:
- Relisted "Mill Creek Park" near Youngstown, Ohio as "1894 Mill Creek Park".
Usually I wait for a batch of changes to accumulate, but today I made some structural changes to the way the inventory is presented and I needed to upload all of the pending additions and corrections. If you start out here:
you'll notice the "full" inventory is now split over 9 pages instead of 4. Of the 4 old pages some were huge. The old "Undated" page was showing 495 bridges and took forever to load. I split the bridges up more evenly across 9 pages (and built some infrastructure into my site and database to more easily accomodate future growth).
I added another feature to the lists of references. If you're looking at a bridge on the inventory and you click a reference, it will take you to a page that shows only the selected reference. I did this because the "full" references page was also getting quite large now that it cross-references all of the bridges.
One last note. I want to remind everyone that the updates listed in these emails (and on the News page) are only the "major" updates:
- Addition of a bridge
- Removal of a bridge
- Listing a bridge under a different name
- Listing a bridge with a notably different Year of Completion
I constantly make updates and corrections to the other information accompanying each bridge.
Please let me know if you notice any problems with the new features.
