Nintendo's Wii video game system is being used in senior centers and rehabilitation clinics.
Find out why at our next Computer Club.
The Library staff will demonstrate the system and give some of us a chance to try it out.
The secret is in the innovative Wii remote, which uses motion sensors to react to your movements.
Our Bits & Bytes Editor, Margie Shaw, had a chance to try out Wii bowling. She reports that, to her amazement, it picked up the curve that she has in regular bowling. You can enjoy the sport again even if you have arthritis or bad knees. It can even be done sitting down. Wii is more than just games -- the module includes different channels such as weather forcast, news, Internet, chat rooms, and more.
