Art was SeniorNet's Chairman from 2004 to the present.
His loss leaves a giant "hole" in SeniorNet and several other organizations.

He was employed at Piper Aircraft, formerly of Lock Haven and served as Human Resources Director at Little League, Inc., South Williamsport. An accomplished computer expert, he was heavily involved in the Susquehanna Chapter of SeniorNet, serving as Chairman of the Advisory Board and as a computer class instructor. He served as Vice President of the South Williamsport Mummer's Parade. He frequently donated his time on Saturdays helping to staff the Lycoming County Visitor's Information Center. He was also a member of the Williamsport Community Theatre League, where he participated onstage and backstage.

His wife Jane was always at his side and the two of them shared the honor of being named Williamsport-Lycoming Chamber of Commerce Volunteers of the Year in 2002. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on September 27, 2008.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur B. Kline, Sr in 1968, and his mother, Madalene B. Kline in 1999. He is survived by his wife L. Jane Kline, Williamsport; his daughters, Karen Burd (Robert), Casper, WY, Alice Alt (Matthew), Mansfield, TX; three grandchildren, Kline, Micah, and Madeline Alt; his sister, Janet Green (Henry), South Williamsport; his brother, Kenneth, Williamsport; his nephew, David Green (Marilyn, deceased 1994), Williamsport; his niece, Sheri Shutt (Gene), Montoursville; his great nieces Richele Rupert, Williamsport, and Melanie Shutt, Montoursville; and two great nieces, Emily and Marcella Green, both of Williamsport.

Memorial contributions may be made to Susquehanna SeniorNet, c/o James V. Brown Library, the Community Theatre League, Williamsport, or St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Williamsport.
