things to set in the Plate Solve setup tab (image scale, location of Pinpoint
files. And there are different options as to how to dither, what to do to
correct after a plate solve etc.

I already am a member of the CCDC Yahoo group and have been reading it for
several months. None of the message content has been relative to the problems I
have with CCDC. It is a program initialization problem. I never progress far
enough to see whether plate solving works. I don't have any issues with plate
solving with the other programs that use it, so I don't think I should have
issues with CCDC either. I gather that I need to talk directly with Matt
regarding my issues which I haven't found time to do so. So instead of spending
considerably more time resolving the issue, I just keep going with my manual
data gathering. I'm sure I'll tackle the problem again at some point.
