Description

Welcome to the TAHIT Members Only page!!

The Texas Association of Healthcare Interpreters and Translators was formed to address the inconsistency in qualifications for professional interpreters in the state of Texas. TAHIT is working to achieve standard qualifications for healthcare interpreters to ensure accurate transmission of vital medical information and provision of excellent healthcare to all regardless of their ability to speak English.

This yahoo! group is TAHIT's MEMBERS ONLY page. Members are encouraged to browse the files available on the margin on the left. Also, join the listserv to discuss language access issues and share information regarding resources, tools and events related to the provision of culturally competent and linguistically appropriate care for individuals of Limited English proficiency.

To become a member of TAHIT, visit http://www.tahit.us and click on JOIN TODAY!

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at tahit07@yahoo.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
