Hi everyone,

I'm teaching PA 5036, Regional Economic Analysis, at the Humphrey Institute at
the U of M for the first half of spring semester.

We cover topics such as the economic base model, shift-share analysis, and
economic projections, with a heavy emphasis on using data sources such as County
Business Patterns for the analyses.

I don't use the techniques in my professional work; I'm wondering if any of you
do and would be willing to share your experiences with the students.

The class meets on Wednesday nights from 6 to 8:45 from now through March 7th.
