We all know Wallmart is selling dangerous items made mostly in China so why do we shop there? Why do we spend hard earned dollars on junk? Why are we making China the most powerful manfacturing country in the world? I know the answer, it is easy, cheap and takes no thought or time out of our lives.

We still have time to get busy, sit our children down and let them know gifts will all be home made this year. What fun you will all have making things for those you love. The kids will feel empowered and important when they are rewarded by real expressions of joy at receiving a gift from their own little hands. Maybe I am just strange but I still have on my shelves displayed, little ash trays, vases, pictures and all sorts of hand made gifts from my kids. I wouldn't trade them for anything. The kids all look every time they come to see if their handiwork is still there or stuffed in a box somewhere. My bedroom is covered with pictures sent to me over the years, yes it is kind of corny but I go to sleep at night seeing their handiwork and thinking of their love for me to take their precious time and draw something for me and me alone.

Not only will making gifts be good for the children and even yourself but think of the money you can save and put to better use. Plus The big stores with all the junk will not prosper from your working dollars.

To survive and live a decent life we all have to learn how to be more self sufficient and trim down our lives. We really don't need those huge TV's being sold cheaper and cheaper to brain wash our family. Did anyone ever stop to think "Why would the Government want to make sure we all have TV available with the switchover to another broadcasting system?" Why make sure we all have the converter boxes? Is that something a Government should be concerned with? Could it be the new system has more brainwashing capabilities? More control? More spying on our private lives? Maybe I am paranoid but the only reason I can think of is the new system has built in capability for more infringment on our privacy and the Government wants to make sure no one escapes so will make sure everyone has those little boxes to convert their old tv to be able to receive the new system..

My Friends don't expect a commercially made gift this year. You will be getting something I make myself, a tin of creamy fudge, a platter of home made cookies, a fruit cake or a new pair of knitted foot warmers plus a lot of love put into them. Maybe one of the books I just finished to remember me by long after I am gone.

If anyone is interested I will put up a page where you can sell your hand made items, there is still time to do this if you are interested. Make some money for Christmas and give someone a special gift. Send me a photo of description of the item, your name and address you wish to have the payment sent to and I will get it up and online ASAP. We could continue this all year if you like, people supporting others by buying their products and gaining good things for themselves and their family.

To change the subject now: I have been accused of being hard to get along with by some groups, I suppose that is true but I refuse to associate myself with those I feel are money grubbing scabs. Liars, Conspiracy promoters etc. Once I have found someone or some group to be promoting themselves more than a objective that will help every one I tend to remove myself from that group and will not be used to promote them. I will not openly yell and scream about the fraud as I feel everyone has to make their own judgments but I will not approve of our name being used to promote these groups which has been happening. The news letters get forwarded many times and it has been brought to my attention that people forward them and add their tags to the letter like I have endorsed a program or site. Folks if it is not in the body of this news letter I have nothing to do with the tags below the actual letter.

When I see some activity that is beneficial to the country and its people I will do my best to help promote that project but will not be used for personal gain by others. I gain nothing myself, have gone deeply into debt and yes that is my problem and can only blame myself but will not promote others who are simply out to make a dollar on the backs of people who are eager to do something to help bring back sanity to our lives and country. So many people trust what they see online, it isn't always true. People get taken every day by scammers and outright crooks playing on the patriots willingness to help. Not mentioning any names but just this past week a group called for burning your FRN's as a protest against the Federal Reserve? What kind of nonsense is this?

Why would anyone want to encourage people to burn their money when it is so hard to come by now? Take this advice: Save those FRN's and buy supplies and food. Make sure your family is fed well and you have the things you will need for any emergency.

Everyone have a wonderful Holiday Season, enjoy your family and friends as you have never done before, take time out and appreciate all that you do have and realize how easily it can be lost. Embrace your religion no matter what it is, search for a more family oriented way of life. without our family and friends we stand no chance of withstanding what I fear is coming. Don't let life catch you off guard make preparations now. Don't wait. There is a wonderful feeling of security when you know you have supplies for your home even if you lose your job, if the economy crashes, if money is worthless.

I am not a overly religious person but pray for us all daily. For our healthy survival and happiness as a nation. This nation is our family and should be treated as such. That means disipline for the unruly and pats on the backs of those that do their best to make things better.
