Using Linux at your business? Open Source? Free Software?   Message List
Reply Message #5619 of 19303 |
I'm in the process of writing an article on Open Source/Free Software
usage in Trinidad and Tobago for the Linux Journal -
http://www.linuxjournal.com . This article will be on the Internet,
and according to the editor, a follow up in print is a possibility.

If your business is using any Open Source/Free Software solutions,
please let me know so I can try to include your company in the
article. From a business perspective, it equates to free advertising.

If you are not using Free/Open Source software - and this was a
conscious decision - please also let me know, especially the reasons
why. As an example, someone already wrote me and stated that
OpenOffice wouldn't work at their organization because Microsoft Excel
runs circles around it for their specific needs. Things like that are
important.

If you're just doing really cool and froody stuff, that counts - let
me know :)

If you wish to make comments, and do so anonymously, just let me know
in the email.

I will stop collecting information on the COB (Close of Business, 5
p.m.) of January 23rd, 2002.

Sincerely,

Taran Rampersad
