Position #1:
Duration: 6 months
Location: Portland, OR
Project Description/Scope:
The Employer Center project will be based on
Agile. The work will be divided into three-week
iterations for Employer Center. At the end of
each iteration, the team will demonstrate new features to stakeholders
and customer team leads/business representatives. This
forum provides customers a direct view of the evolving product and
provides the team immediate feedback that can be used to adjust the
product during the next iteration. Features
from several iterations will be grouped into releases and will be moved
into production at one time.
Required Skills we are looking for:
5-7 years experience in Enterprise J2EE
development with strong additional skills in Ajax, JavaScript, and
Adobe Flex preferred
Proven ability to implement and deliver
software solutions through the iterative life cycles using Agile
development, XP, r SCRUM
Object-oriented analysis and design skills
Strong writing, documentation, and oral
communication skills
The ability to read and produce UML diagrams
Be able to plan and manage his/her own work
Position #2:
Location: Portland, OR
Duration: 6+ months. 2 openings..one role would
likely evolve into a contract to hire after 6 months
Our client is looking for two very senior J2EE
developers needed for long-term project work.
Client is looking for strong JDBC skills and
would prefer strong Oracle background as well.
For presentation candidates, Webflow's important. Dojo and FreeMarker are nice-to-haves.
AJAX in general is good. Someone who's
very strong with layout and general user-interface stuff will find a
welcome home here.
Maven experience would be great, too, to save us
some training time.
