Hi folks
This sounds familiar.  If a team of people went house to house and, not only replaced water guzzling shower heads, but also installed insulation in the ceiling cavity and sealed gaps in windows; well!  How much CO2 as well as wasted water would be prevented.  A commonsense approach.  But don't expect that from Government.  But why are we confronted with such extremely low expectations from those we supposedly elect?

"....a plan to send qualified plumbers out to homes to replace inefficient shower heads and taps, could save 74 billion litres — close to what the Government says the north-south pipe will deliver annually."
