Subject: THE UPPER FLORENTINE NEEDS YOU THIS SUNDAY!
The magnificent old growth forests of the Upper Florentine valley need your help. The logging road is partially built and the mighty trees are already falling.
Still Wild Still Threatened and Camp Florentine really need your support this Sunday at a community gathering to be held in the Upper Florentine. Everyone will be meeting at 10 am at Timbs Track to celebrate the beauty of the valley and condemn the senseless destruction that is already underway.
PLEASE join with dedicated campaigners, passionate locals and fellow community members to express the anger and sadness we are all feeling because yet another of Tasmania's special places is being destroyed. Let's send a clear message to the Premier and to the Federal Government that Tasmania has had enough and we are not going to stand by and let these crimes against the planet and its people continue.
WHAT: Community Gathering For The Upper Florentine - Speakers, art, music and community.
WHEN: This Sunday the 10th of May at 10am.
WHERE: Upper Florentine Valley: Meet at the Timbs Track Carpark, Gordon River Road, 20 mins past Maydena.
