It's a strange suggestion....

We should give discription of the IS codes or TITLE of the IS CODES while attaching the various files.

This would help us to know the subject of the code before downloading. On knowing on which item the code is one can selelct wether to download or not.

Agreed the masters should understandfrom code no. itself....but silly questions sent many times to the groups suggest all are not masters of the subject

Dear Thulasi.

The productivity for rebar installation depends upon dia of bar but usually it it ranges 34 to 40 kg per manhour means for one tone 25 to 30 man hours.

Similar is the case for slab form work. If you are using conventional it will be .75sq m per man hour and if it is any other syatem form work it ranges from 1 to 4 sq m per man hourdepending the easiness of reinstallation.

The productivity of workers usually does not depend upon the basic rates of of BOQ but for justification of productivity you may refer to your basic rates.

I think it mayl not fully solve your problem but it may help you a bit

does any body has any experience with Bellstone(construction departmental
store)?

if not please be aware before buying any equipment from them.
i bought one pressure washer from them costing around 30k INR last year, it
never worked. i am still struggling to get that thing working. & now that
company was demanding another 25K INR to repair.
on argument they said we'll waive off most of the expense & just pay like 5-6k
INR.

i also bought one scissor lift from them 1 & half year back. it took them more
that 1 & half month to figure out where is the key to operate that.

i tell you their service is pathetic. no coordination, no communication. if you
have got too much time & money, you can try them. unless please dont waste your
& your company's money on them.

i am seriously embarrrased i bought stuff for my company from them.

& be aware.
