You're right, I think they are the same mount but the CGEM has different cosmetics and software. I was checking out the EQMOD site last night and it looks

I doubt there's much mechanical difference between the CGEM and EQ-6. The CGEM comes with a CI-700/CGE saddle while the EQ-6 comes with a Synta/Vixen saddle,

Thanks for the response. I'm using an LX200 on a Milburn Wedge and it does okay, especially with guiding. Looking at transferring to a GEM and can't decide
