Sound Gone

I get all the computer noises, but if i try to play music, or videos with sound,
it won't.  I have checked all connections, settings, etc.  When i try to play
the videos, it says something about CODEC, playing music from email from my
music groups, it plays with no sound on windows media player!  HELP PLEASE.  Bob

CODEC are used to COde and DECode digital files.  You can try the
K-Lite Codec pack - http://www.codecguide.com/.  Here is the download

online scan at www.housecalls.com.. If it finds anything delete it.. I hope you
don't find anything but its a great place to start..

Nan, I had a problem with my DVD read/write ever since I bought the HP Pavilion.
It works, some times...less and less with time. Is there something I can do
beside replacing the unit or buying an, external, device?

Best you can do is try and update drivers and firmware, but odds are
you're going to have to replace it with one of the options you
mentioned.

Hello, and hope things are going well with you. Using Dell Dimension DIM  
Intel(R)  Pentium(R) 4CPI  1.80 GH2  1.79 GH2  512 MB of RAM. I asked this last
week and promptly lost your suggestion. In Outlet Express--on the left side are 
local folders  sent items  Outbox, etc. I need a program that will move items
stored in those folders to another computer--or just saved to move to new
computer. If you will resend, I will forever be grateful and also promise not to

i went to the windows mail program, & somehow got all my incoming mail from my
yahoo acct moved to windows mail.....help, i don't know what it did or how to
get it back....i dislike windows mail & want to be rid of it, please tell me how
to export all my current incoming mail back to yahoo mail.

I have an eMachine with Windows XP. When I turn it on a message appears that
says MSVCP71.dll can not be found. I googled it and located an article titled
"Causes of MSVCP71 errors. I selected -Start, Run and typed in scannow as
directed and it can not find it. It does not find MSVCP either..Apparently I
need a registry fix and the article offers a free download of RegGenie. Is it
safe to use this one or do you have a better one?
The only recent changes I have made was to uninstall my HP all in one printer
and update Windows, AVG. and Spybot.

Greetings Nancy et al,

I have a problem which just may involve stupidity instead of a real problem.  I
have a Canon ZR300 Digital Video Camcorder, which uses small cassettes that I am
trying to transfer to my hard drive and edit on Windows Movie Maker (I have a
Dell desktop w/Windows XP).
I first tried with a cable from my camera to a USB port, which didn't work. 
Then I bought a Fire Wire kit with IEEE 1394 cables, and herein lies the
problem.  I can't tell whether or not my computer has a fire wire port - I've
tried looking at the back of it, and can't identify anything that the plug would
fit into.  My computer owner's manual doesn't show any such port on the diagram,
so I'm wondering if I'm just out of luck, or if there's any other way to load
the videotapes into my hard drive.  Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated, as usual.  Thanks, Greg in Carpall the garbage I have on this
machine on it ..How can I go about moving just the programs I want one at a time
and not everything on this machine ?..Try to make it easy, remember I'm an old
man...thank you and get well !

How about buying a firewire card? Usually firewires are the same size as usb
wires.. Short of hooking up wires from your camcorder to your pc..
Have you considered putting in a usb card? That will get you ready for either
method.. Last choice would be to transfer your videos to dvds..
As far as moving the programs you can only move the ones you have the install
discs for..
And yes I am improving everyday!

                 Hope you are keeping well.
Microsoft have thrown in an obligatory update to Messenger which wont finish
downloading.It gets to nearly the end then rolls back! I know you will say
"DITCH IT" and use a better programme but I have important e-mails saved on it
and an important contact list.Please don't tell me I should have backed it up!I
have searched Microsoft and googled it but came up with nothing useful.Anything
else I can try would be really appreciated.
HP Pavilion 433 with 2 gig celeron processor,plenty of hard drive space,1280
memory.

Outlook Contacts on my computer.  I recently had work done on my computer, so I
saved my contacts on a CD, but now I can't seem to get them back into my
computer.  I have a Gateway PC with Windows XP Professional system.

I haven't run on to this but since you can open the picture on your
computer, I would try to save it to the memory card under a different
name. Right click on the file and click save as. leave the file type the
same but save it under a different name to see if this solves the
problem. If the picture is in a separate folder or is in a folder with
other pictures that don't work right click on the folder and click on
properties. Check to see if the files in the folder are hidden. I didn't
check to see if this works but I remember seeing something like this.
Picassa has a feature to hide pictures. I think it only makes it so they
don't show in Picassa but I could be wrong.

Ken you need to try this one more time..
Make sure you do a full format before you reinstall.
It is hard for me to figure out what went wrong from this distance but we have
to run it again regardless.

Nan, what do you mean by "a full format"? If you mean do a format from DOS I
don't know how to do that.

Hello Nancy..So glad your feeling better..been through it..had a Larnexotmy
(spelling ) 11 years ago and have been talking with a electronic device ever
since..Enough of me..my problem is I have recently bought a Lap top a Dell with
7 on it...I have purchased the program PC Mover, but decided I don't want Sorry
if I seem a bit frazzled, I just had my 11th and 12th great
grandbabies. They were twins and I'm dying to see their pictures but
they are still in NICU.

I lost Buff's addy or I would send directly to him, but he would
probably ask you anyway.

That gamma knife sounds like a great idea, the less invasive the
procedure, the less damage done and the quicker the recovery.  Isn't it
amazing what they can do nowadays?

Since Windows 3.xx you can't move programs, you must reinstall them.
So you will need either the original install media or download for
each program you want to install on the laptop.  You may need to
purchase an updated version that works with Windows 7.

Firewire is most commonly found on Apple computers.  Unless you built
the computer yourself and selected Firewire you most likely don't have
it.  You may be able to purchase a Firewire Add in card.  Another
option would be to get a tuner and connect your camcorder to it like
you would a television and record off of the tuner.  I don't know the
quality of your camera so I don't know if this would be a good thing
or not.  Last time I had to do this I connected the camera to my DVD
burner and made a DVD and then copied the files off of the DVD so I
could use them on the computer.

Nancy dear, I too asked the BOSS to get on your case, we need you more
than HE does. I really hate to keep bugging you about the same old
problems, but now I'm not getting either clean or adult buffalo chips at
webtv. Here's the topper, thanks to Bill I can now get LabLaughs,
Cleanlaughs and HumorExpress on webtv, but I can't get HumorExpress on
MSN. it keeps bouncing the subscribe back. Here's the really weird part,
webtv won't let me copy the subscribe addy to send to you but it did let
me copy this.

                 Hope you are keeping well.
Microsoft have thrown in an obligatory update to Messenger which wont finish
downloading.It gets to nearly the end then rolls back! I know you will say
"DITCH IT" and use a better programme but I have important e-mails saved on it
and an important contact list.Please don't tell me I should have backed it up!I
have searched Microsoft and googled it but came up with nothing useful.Anything
else I can try would be really appreciated.

Yes....In fact I just reinstalled Windows from the disks. But the problem
started before I did that.

Did you reformat first? Because if you didn't you need to go back and start over
with a reformat.

When I restarted the computer with the disks in the D drive it said "this will
reformat the hard drive, do you want to continue." It's not just one computer
that has the problem, all of mine does.

Make sure you do a full format before you reinstall.
It is hard for me to figure out what went wrong from this distance but we have
to run it again regardless.

Hey Nancy & Herd;

Hope you are feeling well, always thinking of you. I have Dell Vostro 1500
Laptop running Windows XP. My problem is a SD card. I have a digital photo frame
that I download pics to all the time. Everything usually works okay. This week,
I downloaded some new pics from my camera--when playing back in the frame, this
particular file says it is bad. I put SD card back in computer and they show
up--the files are also stored on the computer plus a backup USB device--they all
show up in those places also. When I went to download files to the SD card, it
said something about a hidden file and I clicked okay. But obviously, I am not
doing something correctly--can you help me out?? Thanks in advance.

It is a jpeg file that I am trying to move from the computer to digital picture
frame. I have done this a thousand times. Now, it says that this particular file
has 1 hidden file. If you want to select them as well, enable viewing in the
Folder Options Menu---I don't know where to go from there.

than HE does. I really hate to keep bugging you about the same old
problems, but now I'm not getting either clean or adult buffalo chips at
webtv. Here's the topper, thanks to Bill I can now get LabLaughs,
Cleanlaughs and HumorExpress on webtv, but I can't get HumorExpress on
MSN. it keeps bouncing the subscribe back. Here's the really weird part,
webtv won't let me copy the subscribe addy to send to you but it did let

Greetings Nancy et al,

I have a problem which just may involve stupidity instead of a real problem.  I
have a Canon ZR300 Digital Video Camcorder, which uses small cassettes that I am
trying to transfer to my hard drive and edit on Windows Movie Maker (I have a
Dell desktop w/Windows XP).
I first tried with a cable from my camera to a USB port, which didn't work. 
Then I bought a Fire Wire kit with IEEE 1394 cables, and herein lies the
problem.  I can't tell whether or not my computer has a fire wire port - I've
tried looking at the back of it, and can't identify anything that the plug would
fit into.  My computer owner's manual doesn't show any such port on the diagram,
so I'm wondering if I'm just out of luck, or if there's any other way to load
the videotapes into my hard drive.  Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated, as usual.  Thanks, Greg in Carp

Of course you're in my prayers; you've been there since the first time you
realized something was wrong with your body (mind's still OK I hope?).

I just wanted you to thank Robert for the info relative to me migrating to a new
computer with Windows 7 from a seven year old one with XP for my spouse early
next year.  I feel lots better about the prospects.  An unhappy wife isn't the
best of companions.  On an external HD via USB on a computer I have my second
SATA HD on a USB port. Originally I tried to install that HD in my HP Media
Center PC m7350n until I found that it would have to lay flat in the bottom of
the case plus it would probably would require another fan.  More noise is not a
good thing when my computer is very close physically to my spouse's.

Enough rambling!  The best to you, Lady.

Nancy this didn't fix the problem. At 6:15 I placed something in the Recycle
Bin, by 7:15 it was empty. Also cookies that I want to save are disappearing
too. I don't know if this has anything to do with the problem.

My wife has a Toshiba laptop. I added a mouse and an LG 20" monitor. She likes
to use the large monitor for games and laptop for email etc.

Initially both screens were on and she had a small ATI icon on the taskbar.

Now the icon is gone as well the laptop screen is blank. If I right click on
desktop on the monitor and look under properties/monitor it does not give choice
of 1 or 2. If I disconnect the monitor the laptop screen is back and active.

The ATI card is the problem I think. It is a 3D Rage Pro AGP. I have tried
downloading and re-installing drivers. It only goes so far and I get a Code10 .

Any idea what the problem is?

        Am glad to hear you are on the mend we pray for you .  My question is
this , I am running Verizon wireless internet and get very poor service and am
told that I should buy an external antenna which will boost my signal and
hopefully will fix my poor download speed . they tell me the cost it around
$20.00 . I went to Best buys today and they say they have never heard of an
external antenna foe a USB wireless internet . Have you had any idea as to what
Verizon is talking about and do you know where I could get one ?

Hi again. Hope so much you are feeling more like yourself Nancy. Praying for
you. When I first got my computer a Tech put in Cyberlink which I never used and
it showed up as a problem in my Registry?Well I finally removed it from
Add/Remove (only place I could find it). Went around and deleted all files.
Things settled down. Not so fast! Now when I have been on my computer awhile
this rectangular square pops up with a loud noise...Windows cannot find
Cyberlink..etc. How do I stop this now? I can just click it off but...I'm still
pretty dumb when it comes to this monster....Diana

Sounds like something has been left behind.  I'd start by going to
Start\Run and run MSCONFIG and see if you can see something related to
Cyberlink in the Startup section.

Hi Nancy, Hope you are progressing well. How do I change the (System Locale)
language back to
English (NZ) without doing a reinstall, please? Some programs now want to
install in Spanish, e.g.
Nero and Divx Player. Belarc Advisor says the Install Language is English (US),
but System Locale
is Spanish (Chile).

A friend in Chile often sends me Powerpoints. She sends the translation so I can
change them for
English-speaking friends. Sometimes she wants me to change a PPS from English to
Spanish as
she is unable to edit them. I'm using Win XP Home SP2, Office 2003. Many thanks

My wife has a Toshiba laptop. I added a mouse and an LG 20" monitor. She likes
to use the large monitor for games and laptop for email etc.

Initially both screens were on and she had a small ATI icon on the taskbar.

Now the icon is gone as well the laptop screen is blank. If I right click on
desktop on the monitor and look under properties/monitor it does not give choice
of 1 or 2. If I disconnect the monitor the laptop screen is back and active.

The ATI card is the problem I think. It is a 3D Rage Pro AGP. I have tried
downloading and re-installing drivers. It only goes so far and I get a Code10 .

Any idea what the problem is?

        Am glad to hear you are on the mend we pray for you .  My question is
this , I am running Verizon wireless internet and get very poor service and am
told that I should buy an external antenna which will boost my signal and
hopefully will fix my poor download speed . they tell me the cost it around
$20.00 . I went to Best buys today and they say they have never heard of an
external antenna foe a USB wireless internet . Have you had any idea as to what
Verizon is talking about and do you know where I could get one ?

Hello Nancy..Been quit  a while since I have written you..Glad your getting back
in shape...Simple question..I have Visa on my desk top and just bought a lap top
with 7 already  on it ( not delivered yet)..I have the program PC Mover and
intend to use it, but what happens to Visa ? Do I leave it where it is on the
Desk Top when I make the move or do I have to move the programs by them selves
?...Make it simple if you can I just hit 86 mark and don't think quite as fast
as I did 50 years ago (50 years ago ? Wow !)...Thanks...

Yes, you leave Vista on the Desktop.  Your programs you may want on
the laptop will have to be reinstalled.  You data can be moved over
with Microsoft's Transfer your files wizard in the Getting Started
folder that is pinned to the start.

Hi Lady

I'm getting my wife a new Windows 7 computer early next year; her current one is
about seven years old.  I put a second hard drive on her current machine a
couple years back for safe-store purposes.  It's an IDE type - SATA didn't exist
when her computer was built.  Can I back up to that HD and reload stuff into her
new machine by USB port; i.e. will the new machine be able to work with the IDE
HD that way?  The second question:  I just read Outlook Express will be gone -
Windows Live is all that's available.  How can I convert her OE stuff to work
within the new system?  To me it seems stupid for MS to kill OE, in part because
all contacts would have to be remade, etc.

Really depends on the computer if it will work with IDE.  A lot of
system boards still have the IDE port, it just isn't used.  Worst case
you can get an USB to IDE adapter and use it that way.

     Nancy, we will keep you in our prayers. So sad  this has happen to such a
wonderful person.
I wrote earlier and asked about how I should install SP3. Robert gave me the
info for it. Well, I did what I was supposed to do, but..........I forgot to
uninstall Norton first. I tried it halfway through the install for SP3. And of
course it isn't running well. So when I tried to uninstall it, I get this window
about all the stuff that might not work if I do so. Is there a way to copy this
info so I can keep it on hand when I do uninstall? There are over 70 things on
the list. And, are there any other things I should know before I do this
uninstall? I'm gonna put SP3 back in and do it right this time. HP Pavilion
753n, 2.53GB Pentium 4 processor, 80GB hard drive,1024 memory, Norton 360.

In Microsoft Windows pressing print screen will capture the entire screen, while
pressing the alt key in combination with print screen will capture the currently
selected window. The captured image can then be pasted into an editing program
such as a word processor, email, or graphics software. On keyboards that have an
F Lock key, you may have to press F Lock first. NotePad will not successfully
accept the pasted image. Pressing print screen, with both the alt key and shift
key pressed, turns on a high contrast mode for people with visual impairments

I use the MS Excel spreadsheet to make rosters and inventories, among other
things.  But, when I print it out, the horizontal and vertical grid lines do not
print out.  The grid lines are important to clearly separate the data on the
document.

I have tried the following to no avail:

      1.  On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Sheet tab.

      2.  Select or clear the Gridlines check box.

      3.  Click Print.

What can I do now to print out grid lines?

The box in step 2 needs to be checked if you want to print the Grid
Lines.  Another method might be to highlight your selection and right
click and format, there is a line tool that allows you to set up lines
in many different ways.  I just installed Windows 7 and haven't
reinstalled Office yet so I can't do a step by step for you yet.

crazy. Intermittently we will get a popup that I have attached also.



This is it. We do not have a network password as we are the only 2 persons
living here, and with our little home network (5 puters) we do not need a
password. But, this maddening window will at times pop up 50 or 100 times a
night, maybe more. When it comes up everything stops til you x, or cancel, or OK
out of it. It is especially maddening to me as I have to watch the keyboard
while I type and sometimes I will have typed a lot of stuff that is not there as
this popup has taken over the screen, grrrrrrr. I sent this to you a day or 2
ago but got it back as your mailbox was full. J Can you help us? Martie

Hope you are feeling well, always thinking of you.  I have Dell Vostro 1500
Laptop running Windows XP.  My problem is a SD card.  I have a digital photo
frame that I download pics to all the time.  Everything usually works okay. 
This week, I downloaded some new pics from my camera--when playing back in the
frame, this particular file says it is bad.  I put SD card back in computer and
they show up--the files are also stored on the computer plus a backup USB
device--they all show up in those places also.  When I went to download files to
the SD card, it said something about a hidden file and I clicked okay.  But
obviously, I am not doing something correctly--can you help me out??  Thanks in
advance.

It is a jpeg file that I am trying to move from the computer to digital picture
frame.  I have done this a thousand times.  Now, it says that this particular
file has 1 hidden file.  If you want to select them as well, enable viewing in
the Folder Options Menu---I don't know where to go from there.

Hi Nan. How are you feeling? My problem is how do you stop the Recycle Bin from
emptying it self in Vista? I put a few things in it yesterday and when I went
back a few hours later to undo something it was gone. I have looked in the tool
bar and in the Recycle Bin properties. I don't have it set to remove files
immediately.

Hi again. Hope so much you are feeling more like yourself Nancy. Praying for
you. When I first got my computer a Tech put in Cyberlink which I never used and
it showed up as a problem in my Registry?Well I finally removed it from
Add/Remove (only place I could find it). Went around and deleted all files.
Things settled down. Not so fast! Now when I have been on my computer awhile
this rectangular square pops up with a loud noise...Windows cannot find
Cyberlink..etc. How do I stop this now? I can just click it off but...I'm still
pretty dumb when it comes to this monster....Diana

Hi Nancy, Hope you are progressing well. How do I change the (System Locale)
language back to
English (NZ) without doing a reinstall, please? Some programs now want to
install in Spanish, e.g.
Nero and Divx Player. Belarc Advisor says the Install Language is English (US),
but System Locale
is Spanish (Chile).

A friend in Chile often sends me Powerpoints. She sends the translation so I can
change them for
English-speaking friends. Sometimes she wants me to change a PPS from English to
Spanish as
she is unable to edit them. I'm using Win XP Home SP2, Office 2003. Many thanks

Hi Nancy,
    Hope your trip to Texas is a good one even if it is slow. Here's a question
from a slow learner. Window XP here. I hear so much about updating drivers or
checking them. Never have done it. In easy terms how do I go about doing it.
Still just using my computer for simple pleasures...Diana

The short answer is, if it ain't broke don't fix it until it is.  If you're not
having any issues with your computer you can "normally" avoid installing
drivers.  Updating drivers, especially the ones that Microsoft tends to provide
on Windows Update, you can go from a working machine to a non-working machine. 
On the other hand, if you are having issues, updating your drivers is one of the
first things you can try to fix it.

To update your drivers you need to either go to the web site of the company that
built your computer, or the individual manufacturer's of the parts inside of it.
Your main drivers are Video, Sound, Network, and motherboard.

That all said, since your computer is working fine for you I wouldn't recommend
messing with it.

what to look for or anything else -I am really computer illiterate about this .
No where can I find that this is installed -I don't know where to look for
drivers and software -I am completely baffled . I found a site where you can
download this app . but I dont know if I should do this or not !! Help!!!!!

information about your computer.

Hello Nancy..Been quit  a while since I have written you..Glad your getting back
in shape...Simple question..I have Visa on my desk top and just bought a lap top
with 7 already  on it ( not delivered yet)..I have the program PC Mover and
intend to use it, but what happens to Visa ? Do I leave it where it is on the
Desk Top when I make the move or do I have to move the programs by them selves
?...Make it simple if you can I just hit 86 mark and don't think quite as fast
as I did 50 years ago (50 years ago ? Wow !)...Thanks...

Hi Lady

I'm getting my wife a new Windows 7 computer early next year; her current one is
about seven years old.  I put a second hard drive on her current machine a
couple years back for safe-store purposes.  It's an IDE type - SATA didn't exist
when her computer was built.  Can I back up to that HD and reload stuff into her
new machine by USB port; i.e. will the new machine be able to work with the IDE
HD that way?  The second question:  I just read Outlook Express will be gone -
Windows Live is all that's available.  How can I convert her OE stuff to work
within the new system?  To me it seems stupid for MS to kill OE, in part because
all contacts would have to be remade, etc.

Hey Nancy and crew,
     Nancy, we will keep you in our prayers. So sad  this has happen to such a
wonderful person.
I wrote earlier and asked about how I should install SP3. Robert gave me the
info for it. Well, I did what I was supposed to do, but..........I forgot to
uninstall Norton first. I tried it halfway through the install for SP3. And of
course it isn't running well. So when I tried to uninstall it, I get this window
about all the stuff that might not work if I do so. Is there a way to copy this
info so I can keep it on hand when I do uninstall? There are over 70 things on
the list. And, are there any other things I should know before I do this
uninstall? I'm gonna put SP3 back in and do it right this time. HP Pavilion
753n, 2.53GB Pentium 4 processor, 80GB hard drive,1024 memory, Norton 360.

I can not bring up web sites or links that are sent to me in emails. I click on
them and nothing happens. They are blue like always but just want come up.

I use the MS Excel spreadsheet to make rosters and inventories, among other
things.  But, when I print it out, the horizontal and vertical grid lines do not
print out.  The grid lines are important to clearly separate the data on the
document.

I have tried the following to no avail:

      1.  On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Sheet tab.

      2.  Select or clear the Gridlines check box.

      3.  Click Print.

What can I do now to print out grid lines?

Nancy, I hope you can help my wife and I with a problem that is driving us
crazy. Intermittently we will get a popup that I have attached also.






This is it. We do not have a network password as we are the only 2 persons
living here, and with our little home network (5 puters) we do not need a
password. But, this maddening window will at times pop up 50 or 100 times a
night, maybe more. When it comes up everything stops til you x, or cancel, or OK
out of it. It is especially maddening to me as I have to watch the keyboard
while I type and sometimes I will have typed a lot of stuff that is not there as
this popup has taken over the screen, grrrrrrr. I sent this to you a day or 2
ago but got it back as your mailbox was full. J Can you help us? Martie

Hey Nancy & Herd;

Hope you are feeling well, always thinking of you.  I have Dell Vostro 1500
Laptop running Windows XP.  My problem is a SD card.  I have a digital photo
frame that I download pics to all the time.  Everything usually works okay. 
This week, I downloaded some new pics from my camera--when playing back in the
frame, this particular file says it is bad.  I put SD card back in computer and
they show up--the files are also stored on the computer plus a backup USB
device--they all show up in those places also.  When I went to download files to
the SD card, it said something about a hidden file and I clicked okay.  But
obviously, I am not doing something correctly--can you help me out??  Thanks in
advance.

It is a jpeg file that I am trying to move from the computer to digital picture
frame.  I have done this a thousand times.  Now, it says that this particular
file has 1 hidden file.  If you want to select them as well, enable viewing in
the Folder Options Menu---I don't know where to go from there.

Hi Nan. How are you feeling? My problem is how do you stop the Recycle Bin from
emptying it self in Vista? I put a few things in it yesterday and when I went
back a few hours later to undo something it was gone. I have looked in the tool
bar and in the Recycle Bin properties. I don't have it set to remove files
immediately.

While I am sitting here waiting for my mail to download...
AOL dial up takes forever after you get used to cable high speed!
I may as well bring everyone up to date on my medical ccondition.
They found a tumor about 3/4" in my brain with some swelling..
That explains the headaches and vision problems. They plan on going in in the
next week or so and burning it out with a gamma knife. I liked that idea better
than just cut my head open and manhandle my brain..
As soon as an opening comes up for the gamma knife on my back I will be
scheduled for that.
After they get those two kicked out of the way the will start on my lungs..
My lungs may be loaded but the other two tumors pose a much bigger risk right
now.
I can't say I am enjoying all this attention but with out it I will only have a
year or so left and I want to see some grandbabies before I leave this life!
Besides I am tired of the numb thigh and sore butt cheek!
I will keep you posted as we go..

Hi Nancy,
    Hope your trip to Texas is a good one even if it is slow. Here's a question
from a slow learner. Window XP here. I hear so much about updating drivers or
checking them. Never have done it. In easy terms how do I go about doing it.
