Welcome to the Theudiskon project. The purpose of the project, of which this group is a part, is to research and re-construct Proto-Germanic, the common ancestor of the Germanic languages. The project also has as its subsidiary purpose the same as regards Gothic, Proto-Norse, North-West Germanic and other Germanic languages of antiquity. The Theudiskon project is related to the group called Germanic-L, but differs from it in being wholly and entirely linguistic in nature. This group is home to all those serious students and scholars of Germanic Linguistics whom share its common passion and purpose. All posts must be relevant to the purpose of the project as stated above. Besides being respectful of one and other, members are asked to actively participate in the project by researching and otherwise working toward resolution of the linguistic issues with which the group is concerned. We warmly welcome your participation in this project.
