http://www.sdu.dk/~/media/FD6C3B54C6CC44BB8EB60C6482137259.ashx

Dear colleagues

I’d like to remind you of the PhD course taking place in connection with the 18th Nordic Symposium on Tourism and Hospitality Research

http://www.sdu.dk/Om_SDU/Institutter_centre/C_Tik/Nordic_Symposium2009.aspx?sc_lang=en

The symposium is scheduled for October 22nd to 25th, with the PhD course being held October 21st and 22nd, where keynote speakers C. Michael Hall (University of Canterbury, N.Z. and University of Oulu, Finland) and Dieter Müller (Umeå University, Sweden) have kindly agreed to contribute as guest lecturers. There is still room for participants in the PhD course, and due to a number of requests we have extended the deadline for sending an abstract for the course, describing the central questions and objectives of the projects and preliminary results. The deadline is now Friday July 10th. More information here:

http://www.sdu.dk/Om_SDU/Institutter_centre/C_Tik/Nordic_Symposium2009/PhD%20Course.aspx?sc_lang=en

Online registration through this site:

http://www.sdu.dk/Om_SDU/Institutter_centre/C_Tik/Nordic_Symposium2009/Registration.aspx

where if relevant, you should tick the box ”Attending the PhD Course”. Note that the fee for taking part in the PhD course is included in the overall symposium fee, which covers all meals and the excursion on Oct. 25th.  Also note that participants in the PhD course are encouraged to also contribute to the symposium, by sending an abstract for one of the sessions, note however that deadline here is June 30th (extraordinarily extended from former deadline June 20th).

If you have questions relating to the course, do not hesitate to contact me.

Best regards

Niels Christian Nielsen
