This Friday, May 20th, (and also Fri June 3rd
The New York Times Band will be playing at
Night Caps in Edwardsville from 10 pm to 2 am.
(You might consider stopping in after your usual Friday ballroom dance group.)

I danced to this band at a benefit in Berwick back in early May.
This band normally plays at private functions,
but "us public" can dance to them on these upcoming 2 dates.

I found them to be a really great band to dance to --
for west coast swing, cha cha, and other ballroom dances.
Their music makes you want to move, and it's all the right tempo.

I have never been to Night Caps, but my contact with the band, Jody
Busch, assures me that:

a) the dance floor is adequately sized
b) the place will be populated with an adults, not kids (most NEPA
nightclubs seem to be full of kids)
c) they will play the same great music they did in Berwick when I
first heard them.
