SUMMER-HIRE PROGRAM
FRITO-LAY IRVING PLANT
We expect to hire 30 - 40 temporary Packers as part of our summer help program.  Employee relatives are eligible for these summer positions (employee relatives are not eligible for part-time or full-time positions).
 
Here is the way the program will work:
ü     We will accept applications online the week of April 27, 2011 – May 4, 2011.  The application and the Frito=Lay Select Test must be completed online @ www.fritolayemployment.com.
 
ü     All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
 
ü     In order to be eligible for employment, applicants must pass the written evaluation, background check, and pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
 
ü     Summer hires will be assigned to a specific shift, but their days off and departments are subject to rotation.
 
ü     Hires will receive $12 per hour, with no benefits or guarantee of work hours.
 
ü     Summer hires can not be eligible for part-time or full-time employment. Job runs from June – September 2011.
