Re: Revolve multiple objects - How?

Paul,

I use V 11.2. In 11.2, I don't think you can revolve multiple objects
at once.

Here is something you might try: create a polyline from your two
objects and then revolve that polyline. Or, you could select each
object individually and revolve them individually.

Paul, There are a lot of ways to select multiple objects, but the easiest is to simply draw a box around the desired objects when in the select mode. You can...

It's not possible Paul. If the arc and the line were at least touching, you could use the 'Use Compound Profile' option along with the revolve tool. Don...

Oops - I feel like an idiot. Here I give a big dissertation on how to use the manual and I'm guilty of not looking at it for your question on revolve. It just...

Thanks to everyone for your suggestions. I went back to my drawing, and quickly revolved each of the items around the common axis "one at a time". The result...

So, I would suggest you create a group of the arc & line first, then revolve the group. You can later explode the groups if you need the arcs & lines to be...
