I tried this and it works. The result is very rough, but it
provides numerous snap points that may be used to generat a useable
drawing.
As a test, I downloaded the plan for the Comet Phantom Fury as
a .pdf from the Yahoo CometModelAirplanes group files. I then used
GIMP to convert the file to .jpg format, which I used.
The only task remaining is to convert the drawing to the proper
scale.
