Greeting fellow Drafters,

This newbe needs help, first as you might remember I am a architecture drafter
(blue prints etc.),  Electrical prints mostly and code calculations.  However I
have been asked to illustrate a co-workers and friends book.  and since most of
the images deal with aircraft etc.  I am lost.  Mostly problems arise when I try
to assemble parts together the root edges of wings or engine pods controls
services etc.  I anyone out there can help talk me through some of this I will
be most grateful and will endeavor to return the favor.

Thank you for your time,
Bob Mandl

Don't know about V 12 but V15 Pro has "Unfold Face" Applies to ACIS objects.

Look or it in the V12 Help F1 Key.

Best of Luck

Here are some. Hopefully, they'll be helpful.
http://www.caddigest.com/subjects/turbocad/tutorials.htm

(Not free, but may be havingsome free samples) http://cadcourse.net/

Also, just in case you don't know - you can get a set of 3 basic video tutors
for TC from the Turbocad website->support page. At least it's there for v14, and
maybe for 12, too.

Good luck.

Bob,

Select 'Workspace' from the drop down menus at the top of the screen; you
want to reset the model dynamics by using the path: Workspace/Workplane/By
World.

That should do the trick and stop your doors reverting to their original
draw settings once you've changed them.

Kind regards,

Keith

placement problems) turbocad 16 pro

Hello, Everyone!
bob here, I need some help ...really! I have drawn hundreds of floorplans
for work,
I was recently working on a home project, when I try to place a single
door, the following happens. when I try to change the draw of the door
(left hand or right hand) opening in or out. when I do the final
placement it always reverts to a right handed out opening door. What have
I done? None of the changing of styles or changing the swing of the door at
the bottom left of the screen (on the info bar) has any effect.

I am calling it a day for now..please help.

regards,
Bob Mandl

Hi, you could try www.freecad.com. Search for "cad blocks"; most will be in
dwg/dxf format - which you should be able to open and convert in Turbocad.
Also check out this: http://www.turbocadables.com/links.php
Good luck
:)
