Thank you so much!  I will be using this with a young lad who is struggling with anxiety right now. He feels he can't go to school, play football, play out with his mates. He may just find your animation a useful addition to our work together.

Kind regards
Sarah

That's terrific.  It's good for almost anyone, I think.  It's helpful at times to have things made visual and simple for all of us!

Best,

Dear friend,
how were you going? I would like to introduce you a really good space, there are mainly run various kinds of famous electornic products, it's true brcian. Now the company is under promotion, all of the products are sold nearly as the same as their cost.
Brcian renders the best service to customers, and provides you with original products which are very cheap, but good-quality.
It is really a good opportunity for taking action, let's go, just do it, and you will fall in love with it.

Dear friend,
How are you doing recently?
I found a good website last week:  www.etstrade.com.
They do internationa business and they sell different kinds of electronic products. Such as laptops, digital cameras, phones, notebooks and so on. Their products are new and original and have 3 years international warranty, so we can fix the product in our own country for free. Now , the Cristmas day is coming, they are promoting their products. So the prices are very competitive. I am sure it will be a good choice for us.
Greetings! *

Hi Everyone,

Just to let you know I have started a once-weekly ‘ACT Made Simple’ blog, hosted on the New Harbinger website, to supplement and build on my new textbook (which, as you probably already know, is also called ‘ACT Made Simple’).

You can find the blog here: http://www.newharbinger.com/BlogACTMadeSimple/tabid/313/Default.aspx

Also, you might want to check out all the free resources to use with the ACT Made Simple textbook, available here: www.actmadesimple.com/free_resources

And if you want a ‘taste’ of the book, you can download the first two chapters from here: Introduction and first two chapters of ACT Made Simple

All the best,

Cheers,

Russ Harris

Hi Russ

My thanks as well. Our 160 copies arrived the other week and my colleagues will be giving it out with free condoms to sex workers and street homeless as I type!

Would be worth keeping a copy of your ACBS conference folly presentation in case of enquiries to your web site.

Thanks again

Hi Everyone,

the UK publishers of The Happiness Trap have generously extended their half-price offer until the end of January 2010.

ACT therapists and trainers can purchase the book at half price - £4.99 – direct from the publisher. You can buy up to 10 copies* at a time, at 50% discount (i.e. £4.99 per book).

Whether you buy 1 copy, or ten copies, or any number in between, the total fee for postage and packing is £2.50 (within the UK).

(By the way, you may not know that there’s a whole stack of free worksheets that you can use with the book – you can download them from the free resources page on www.thehappinesstrap.com )

If you wish to resell books to your clients (or to trainees at workshops) then you can do so at any price you wish, up to the full RRP of £9.99.

To order, send an email to:  Fritha@constablerobinson.com   and put `ACT FORUM' in the subject line of the email.  Then request the number of copies you wish.

Orders can only be fulfilled within the UK - outside of the UK p&p charges will vary and so will be quoted on request.

*You can order more than 10 copies but not on the one order - i.e. for 15 copies you'd need to place 2 separate orders, one for ten copies and one for five copies.

All the best, Cheers,

Russ Harris

Hi UKACT folk,

The BABCP Acceptance and Commitment Therapy SIG’s next training event is on Thursday 10th December in
Central London, with Mark Webster leading a one-day workshop “ACT in Groups” (see attached flyer).

This workshop will provide an opportunity to learn the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Group format that originated with Dr Kevin Polk. Clinicians will be involved in the day through participation in the modules and experiential exercises.  Participants will learn:

·         To work with the Pen and the Grid, aka Matrix

·         To deliver Group modules

·         To work interactively with feedback using the process.

·         To use role plays and other ‘live’ training exercises.

The event is open to both BABCP members and non-members, with a preferential rate for BABCP members.

If you are interested in this event and/or would like to join the ACT SIG (if you are a BABCP member) please email actsig@... for further details.

regards, Eric
