Mr. John Turmel
This letter is on behalf of the Kingston Chapter of the
Committee on Monetary and Economic Reform (COMER).
JCT: Interesting. I made my first presentation on Global
LETS to the COMER conference back in 1985 at U of Waterloo.
If you do a search on the net for Turmel and Hotson, you'll
find my interview with him back in 1993.
We meet at 99 York Street, an old house which is used as a
community centre. The meetings are very informal, running
from 1:30 to 4:00 on the second Sunday of the month. If you
would be interested, our next meeting will be held on May
11. We have very few funds, but we could off set your
travelling expenses from Ottawa. I look forward to hearing
from you. Richard Priestman President, COMER Kingston
JCT: I'd love to come. Say it's booked. All I'll need is a
bus ticket Ottawa-Kingston return.
Looking forward to meeting with monetary keeners.
